What does it mean to have a ‘buddy’?

At Holy Trinity we have a lovely buddy system to help support our new Reception children to settle in. During the first half of the Autumn Term, our Year 6 children are ‘buddied up’ with our new Reception children, each child will have a Year 6 buddy that they will see, be able to talk to and play games with.

They have a special  'buddy time' together each week to help develop and establish these friendships! The children will see their buddies each day throughout the school too!

During the school year, the children come together to do different activities. They have games sessions together, film times, tea parties, picnics, reading sessions and much much more!
