"Together we will work as a Christian family to provide a safe, secure and loving environment. Our school will be a place of excellence where we will nurture and value every individual to enjoy learning and achieve their potential with God at the centre."
We held a day of peace and remembrance of Stephen Lawrence, who died 26 years ago and was from Lewisham borough. Every child wrote a prayer or message of peace, which went inside the balloon and we had a mass launch at 11am after Rev. Edd said a blessing. We were very lucky to be joined by the Mayor of Lewisham Damien Egan for a special assembly afterwards. He spoke to us about his work in Lewisham and the children asked him some questions.
